The learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition. He has made an endorsement to that effect and also circulated a letter dated 18.07.2016 to the Registry, wherein it has been stated as follows: "The petitioner in the above criminal original petition by his written letter has requested me to withdraw the above case."

2.In view of the letter dated 18.07.2016 circulated to the Registry and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
