This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 15.11.2017 and investigate the case in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that after conducting investigation, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed as 'action dropped' on 24.01.2018. In such circumstances, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach appropriate forum to work out his remedy.

4. Recording the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
