The present petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.222 of 2017, on the file of the first respondent Police. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the case in Crime No.222 of 2017, has been closed as "mistake of fact" on 28.12.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The said statement is recorded. In view of the fact that the case has been closed as mistake of fact and therefore, nothing
survives in the present Criminal Original Petition, the same stands disposed of. The second respondent / de facto complainant is present before this Court and he will be at liberty to work out his remedies as per the law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
