This Civil Revision Petition is filed to direct the Family Court, Madurai, to expedite the trial of H.M.O.P.No.613 of 2018 and conclude the same within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 1/4

2. A report has been called for from the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai. The report reads as under:

"I submit that the case in H.M.O.P.No.613 of 2018 is filed by the petitioner / husband seeking divorce under Section 13(1)(ia) of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The case was posted for enquiry in the list on 07.09.2023. But the petitioner has not begin the enquiry so far and the case posted to 151.02.2024 for enquiry under the caption 'No further adjournment."

3. Taking into consideration the above said report and by considering the fact that the original petition is of the year 2018, there shall be a direction to the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, to expedite the enquiry process and complete the same as early as possible.

4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
