ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.12.2017.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is maintaining a temple which was constructed by his forefathers and in that temple a Hundial has been installed. On 12.12.2017 at about 5 a.m., when the petitioner went to the said temple, he noticed that the said Hundial has been broken and some ornaments which are placed in the said temple also stolen. Hence, he lodged a complaint before the second respondent. He further submitted that one Balamurugan, Muthu and Periyakaruppan came with deadly weapons and declared that they only committed the offence and also criminally intimidated the petitioner and hence https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner gave another complaint. With regard to that complaint also, the police did not take any action.
4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) has submitted that there is a dispute between two groups with regard to the administration of the said temple and the enquiry is being pending and only after completion of the enquiry the police will take appropriate action.
5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to enquire the matter and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then the second respondent has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.
6. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
