A2/4164/2018 dated 20.12.2018 and the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2026 within a period that this Court may stipulate, and thus render justice.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner is a resident of Puthukadai Post, Kunnathoor Village. He alleges that the sixth respondent had encroached in Survey No.156/1. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader states that Survey No.156/1 has been classified as "Odai Poramboke". It is further stated that notice under Section 7 of the Land Encroachment Act, 1905 was issued in the year 2018 itself.

4.We note that consequential action has not been taken. We direct the third respondent to take further steps forthwith as per law. If the encroachment is confirmed, the same shall be removed. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
