ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as the sole accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 447 and 379 of I.P.C., and Section 3(1) of PPDL Act, in Crime No.243 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.According to the de-facto complainant, the accused have damaged the building constructed in S.No.4 and taken away the building materials and 6 doors, 4 windows worth about Rs.1,60,388/-. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the ward member of the Pattukkottai Municipality and the case was registered on the basis of the complaint given by the Panchayat President. He would further submit that the petitioner without prejudice to his rights and contention is ready and willing to deposit a sum of Rs.50000/- to the credit of Crime No.243 of 2015 on the file of learned Jurisdictional Magistrate, Pattukkottai. 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, pattukkottai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the credit of Crime No.243 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

7. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
