ORDER

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

2. The writ petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of mandamus to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 20.12.2024.

3. According to the petitioner, his father was owning the subject lands and after his demise, one of his legal heirs, behind the back of the other legal heirs, proceed to obtain patta in his individual name. It 2/5

is this patta, which is sought to be cancelled and recalled by way of the representation dated 20.12.2024.

4. Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that enquiry proceedings have already commenced and the next date of hearing is 21.02.2025, before the second respondent.

5. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conclude the enquiry and pass final orders within a period of twelve weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
