Respondent/Defendant Prayer :- This Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to pass an order to dispose the Suit in O.S.No. 76 of 2014 pending on the file of the Learned Principal District Munsif Court, Kumbakonam within a time fixed by this Hon'ble Court .

ORDER:- This Civil Revision Petition coming on for hearing on this day in the caption for "Extension of time" and upon perusing the earlier order of this court dated 22.02.2021, and the requisition letter submitted by the Principal District Munsif, Kumbakonam vide the letter in D.No.483 / 2023 dated 04.08.2023, this Court made the following order:

By an order dated 22.02.2021 in the above Civil Revision Petition, the learned Principal District Munsif, Kumbakonam was directed to dispose the suit in O.S.No.76 of 2014 within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2. Now, the learned Principal District Munsif, Kumbakonam vide his letter dated 04.08.2023 bearing reference D.No.483 of 2023, requested for extension of time to dispose the suit. In the said letter, he has given explanation for non-disposal of the suit.

3. Being satisfied with the explanation given in the letter dated 04.08.2023, the time for disposal of the suit is extended by three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
