ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent police to expeditiously investigate the case in Crime No.136 of 2015 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police enabling to file charge sheet and direct the 1st respondent police to investigate the 2nd respondent in order to find out the petitioner's daughter-in-law namely Banupriya, aged about 24 years, wife of Arasakumar of kathayan Village.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's daughter-in-law namely Banupriya has opted to live with the second respondent and since she is a major, she has taken her independent decision. 4. The said statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Now, the petitioner or his son as the case may be is at liberty to work out their remedies as per law. The Investigating Agency is now directed to file a final report before the concerned Magistrate indicating the details gathered during investigation. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
