O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners and to interfere with the civil dispute on the guise of inquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a report submitted by the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai District, addressed to the learned Public Prosecutor, in which it is stated that the petitioner/complainant and the accused have agreed to settle the issue amicably between them and further, he submitted that by recording the said statement made by the parties, the compliant was closed as 'further action dropped'. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the above said statement, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is required to serve the above said communication to the other side.
