ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar to dispose the case in C.C.No.76 of 2015 within the time as stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police.

3. The case in Crime No.412 of 2012 came to be registered for the offence under Sections 406, 465, 467, 468, 471, 420 and 506(i) IPC. After completing enquiry, the respondent police laid charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, before whom the case is now pending trial in C.C.No.76 of 2015.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the prosecution has cited 13 witnesses and the trial is scheduled to be commenced from 06.04.2019. He also added that summons to the listed witnesses 1 and 2 have already been served for examination.

5. In such circumstances, the learned Magistrate is directed to complete the entire trial process within a period of three months from 06.04.2019.

6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
