Respondent Prayer :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to call for the records in Crl.M.P.No.3175 of 2022 in C.C.No.16 of 2006 on the file of II Additional Judge and Special Judge for CBI Cases at Madurai and set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No. 3175 of 2022 dted 09.12.2022. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for 'Lower Court' and upon perusing earlier order dated 09.03.2023 and the requisition submitted by the II Additional Judge and Special Judge for CBI Cases, Madurai in D.No.605/2025 dated 12.06.2025 seeking further six months time to dispose of the case in C.C.No.16 of 2006, this Court made the following Order:

'By an order dated 09.03.2023, this Court directed the learned II Additional Judge and Special Judge for CBI Cases, Madurai to complete the trial process within a period of 6 months.

2. The learned Judge has submitted a letter, in D.No.605, dated 12.06.2025, wherein, he has requested further extension of time of six months to comply with the earlier order.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Investigating Agency has produced the order in SLP (CRL)Nos.17481 - 17482 of 2024, dated 28.05.2025, to show that the proceedings filed before the Apex Court by one of the accused has been disposed and as of now, there is no pending stay order in order to stop further proceedings.

4. In view of the above and considering the reasons stated by the learned Judge, further extension of six months time is granted to comply with the earlier order of this Court.
