ORDER
The present petition is filed seeking protection of the police as the petitioner faces threat to her life and liberty at the hands of the respondents 3 to 7.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the official respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner had earlier preferred a complaint before the All Women Police Station, Tirupathur, Sivagangai District, against the same set of private respondents herein and that is being enquired into in CSR No.29 of 2019. Now the present petition is filed seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
police protection from the same set of private respondents.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the dispute is only within the family, the same can be resolved through mediation.
5. Be that as it may, if there is any threat perception to her life and liberty of the petitioner, the petitioner is well advised to make a fresh representation to the second respondent, who may cause such necessary enquiry into the same and take such appropriate decision as may be necessary to accord protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
