2.The petitioners are facing trial in C.C.No.26 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi. The petitioners want this Court to quash the impugned proceedings. 3.The petitioners' counsel reiterated all the contentions set out in the memorandum of grounds.

Leaving open the petitioners' defences and contentions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the personal appearance of the petitioners before the Court below is dispensed with. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
