ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent herein for his willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.10477 of 2021, dated 26.07.2021.

2. This Court by an order, dated 26.07.2021, directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the contemnor/ respondent is present and he would submit that the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD)No.230 of 2022 Madurai stating that during the course of investigation, there is compromise between the parties reached and the defacto complainant received entire amount also. He would further submit that based on the compromise between the parties the investigation has been closed as "action dropped" on 26.02.2022.

4. Since final report has been filed before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed and the contemnor/respondent is discharged.
