To direct the respondent to file final report in Crime.No.1 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for her willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10478 of 2021, dated 26.07.2021.

2. By the order of this Court, dated 26.07.2021, a direction was issued to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receiving the expert's opinion.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation was completed and final report has been filed before the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level) Madurai, on 28.02.2022. But, it has not been taken on cognizance so far.

4. Since the final report has been filed before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed and the contemnor/respondent is discharged.

6. The learned Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level) Madurai, is directed to process the final report presented by the respondent police in accordance with law.
