ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents herein to change the investigation officer in Crime Nos.278 and 279 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent to the fourth respondent or some other unbiased officer/agency.

2. On perusal of records would reveal that for the very same occurrence, the counter parties also lodged complaint and the same was registed in Crime No.279 of 2020 as against the petitioner. Both FIRs have been pending without even conducting any investigation.

3.Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in both the Crime Nos.278 and 279 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent, after following the procedures as contemplated under the Police Standing Order and file the final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
