This quash petition is filed to quash the criminal procdeeings in C.C.No.244 of 2012 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Cheranmahadevi, having been taken cognizance for the offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 326 and 506 (i) of I.P.C. against the petitioner.
2.When the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in this case, already trial has been commenced and the prosecution examined all the witnesses and the case is now posted for judgment.

4.Considering the said submission, this Court is of the view that the prayer in this quash petition has become infructuous.
5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
