ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the proceedings in P.R.C.No.15 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate I, Ramanathapuram.

2. The defacto complainant Mookaiah is present in person before this Court. He has been duly identified by Thiru.L.Ananth, HC 1353, attached to Devipattinam Town Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that he has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned proceedings alive. The parties have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 24.01.2022. The impugned proceedings are quashed in toto. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The benefit of this order will enure in favour of the non-petitioning accused also. The Compromise Memo shall form part of the record.
