PRAYER :- For a Bail in Crime No. 21 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 02.11.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 3, 4, 5(1), 6 Protection of Chile from Sexual Offences Act and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.21 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that earlier bail application filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP(MD) No.20384 of 2021 was dismissed by this Court on the ground that final report was filed before the concerned Court. Now, the matter has been taken cognizance in S.C.No.1 of 2022 and it was posted for receiving copies. Hence he made a request before this Court that this Court may give a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial and dispose of the same within a short time. He would further submit that the father of the victim girl is also involved in this occurrence and the bail application filed by him was also dismissed by this Court yesterday i.e., on 09.02.2022.

3.Since, final report has been taken cognizance in S.C.No.1 of 2022, a direction is issued to the Special Court for POCSO Act Cases, Ramanathapuram, to expedite the trial in S.C.No. 1 of 2022 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.1986 of 2022 and complete the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
