ORDER

The petitioner facing threat to his life and liberty at the hands of the respondents 3 to 5 has now preferred the complaint seeking police protection.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner preferred a representation to the first respondent and as no action was taken on the same, the petitioner has preferred another representation to the second respondent on 18.02.2019 seeking protection to his and his family members' life and liberty from the respondents 3 to 5.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police submits that the representation / complaint made by the petitioner to the second respondent is forwarded to the first respondent, who received the same on 05.03.2019 and the same is being enquired into.

5. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to hold such necessary enquiry on the representation / complaint of the petitioner and take such necessary decision to accord protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members.

6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
