This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the defacto complainant for speedy disposal of CC No.150 of 2022, pending on the file the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Pudukkottai. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.26 of 2020 has been registered as against four accused persons for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(i) of IPC. Thereafter, final report has also been filed and the same was taken on file in CC No. 150 of 2022 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukkottai. However, the trial could not be completed as Non Bailable Warrant issued as against the accused is still pending. He further submits that the petitioner is aged about 74 years and therefore, a suitable direction may be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial within a stipulated time.

3.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that steps are being taken by the respondent police to secure the accused. 4.Considering the rival submissions made, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to secure the accused within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if the accused could not be secured, the respondent police shall file an application to declare the accused as a proclaimed offender and also take steps to attach his property.
