For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- for Anticipatory Bail in S.T.O.R.No.2 of 2019 on the file of the respondent forest officer ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 21(d), (e)(f), 35 and 36 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 read with Section 27, 29 and 51 of Wild Life Protection Act, 1972, in S.T.O.R.No.2 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. I permitted one of the co-accused to surrender and apply for regular bail. I am of the view that the same course of action can be adopted in the case on hand also. The petitioner is permitted to surrender before the jurisdictional Court and apply for regular bail. The Court below shall consider the bail petition on the same day of surrender.

4.With this direction this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
