ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second to fourth respondents, not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of

enquiry, based on the complaint given by the fifth to eleventh respondents.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the eighth respondent is falsely claiming that he is the son of the petitioner, with a view to grab 50 acres of lands of the petitioner and the second to fourth respondents are harassing the petitioner to help the eighth respondent and hence the petitioner has approached this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the complaint is pending for enquiry, but the petitioner was not subjected to the harassment as alleged by him. He further submitted that the complaint has been forwarded to Deputy Superintendant of Police, Vadamadurai at Vedasandur Sub Division, Dindigul District and the enquiry is pending before him. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vadamadurai, Vedasandur Taluk is directed to enquire the matter without harassing the petitioner and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then it is open to him to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
