ORDER
The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to call for the records with regard to the proceedings in Se.Mu.Aa.No.01/Kaa.Aa/Mu.Kaa.Ni/Thudi/2021 dated 27.01.2021 passed by the third respondent and quash the same and consequently grant permission and police protection for conducting cultural programme in connection with Arulmigu Sri Malai Parvathiammbal Thirukovil festival.
2.Mr.R.Saravanakumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD). No.2140 of 2021 instructions, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner on 27.01.2021 was rejected citing the present COVID-19 situation and that the Government has made certain relaxations in respect of the temple festival.
3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application before the third respondent and on receipt of the such application, the third respondent shall pass order in accordance with law with in a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
4.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
