ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of his representation dated 01.12.2022.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's wife was arrested in connection with the murder case registered on 09.11.2022 and she is in judicial custody and that the villagers have been preventing the petitioner and his children from entering into the petitioner's house and therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation before the concerned police on 01.12.2022.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner's representation is pending before the third respondent. 2/4

4. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 and pass orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
