ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to register a case based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.11.2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was assaulted by one Ravi and two others on 07.11.2016

and based on the said occurrence the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent police. The case has been registered in Crime No.185 of 2016 and charge sheet has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai and the case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.1176 of 2016 on 05.04.2017. He further submitted that the first accused was not in India, but some other person appeared before the Court and paid fine and hence the petitioner has given a complaint to the fourth respondent to take action against the said accused, but so far no action being taken. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the fourth respondent is directed to enquire the matter and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
