ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the following relief : "directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2022 within time stipulated by this court regarding to termination of the EB Connection No. 369004708."

2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to his mother. After the demise of his mother, his brothers had executed a partition deed on 06.01.2014 on the file of the Srivaikundam Registration Office. Subsequently, patta has also transferred in his name. Meanwhile, the 2nd respondent claiming to be the son of the petitioner's father, obtained electricity in his name. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 22.12.2022 seeking transfer of the electricity connection in his name, but to no avail. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side.

4. There is no necessity for the authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner. The petitioner shall establish his title to the property before the Civil Court and thereafter, he shall revive his request for transfer of electricity connection.

5. In view of the above, this Writ Petitions stands dismissed. No costs.
