The present petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to execute the warrant issued by the Court based on the conviction in S.T.C.No.747 of 2012 and confirmed in C.A.No.170 of 2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the second respondent has absconded and every effort is taken to nab him.

4. In view of the above, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sankarankovil, is now required to monitor the same and ensure that the convict is brought to books as expeditiously as possible.
