Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first and second respondents.

2.The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition for forbearing the respondent police from harassing him. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that Crime No.2 of 2022 has been registered on the file of the second respondent for various offences under Sections 498A, 294(b), 406 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act and that therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily apply for remedy elsewhere. I sustain the objections of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side). Leaving open the petitioner's other remedies, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
