ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner was granted license to harvest fish in the petition mentioned water body. The period commenced on 06.01.2022 and concluded on 31.12.2022. The petitioner's case is that in view of the serious breach of the tank bund in November 2022, he suffered huge loss. He therefore seeks extension of the lease period. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard.

3.The second respondent is directed to pass an order on the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the second respondent to decide one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
