ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 26.11.2025, conduct an enquiry, and issue the Single Parent / Single Woman Head Certificate within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing at the admission itself.

3. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 26.11.2025 for issuance of single parent/single woman head certificate. However, since the said representation was not considered, she is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered by the third respondent and orders would be passed within a reasonable time fixed by this court. 2/4

4. Considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.11.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
