ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under sections 420, 406, 341, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.
15 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail. 2.One Veluchamy lodged a complaint alleging that he pledged 13/1-2 of gold jewels to the accused, but they did not return them. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The learned counsel further submitted that one year ago, the wife of the de-facto complainant lodged a similar complaint and the same was closed after proper enquiry and this is the second complaint. It is further submitted that earlier the matter was referred to mediation centre, but the medication could not succeed. 4.
The learned counsel appearing for the intervener vehemently opposed this petition contenting that the accused have cheated the de-facto complainant and they also agreed to pay Rs.1,00,000/- before the Mediation, but they did not keep up their words. 5.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.
