ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2024.

2. Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he has made a representation dated 02.01.2024 to the respondent for UDR correction. However, the said representation has not been considered. Hence, he filed the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law by the respondent.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
