ORDER

Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed by a Cook working in the Government Boys (Backward Classes) Hostel, Devathoor, Dindigul District to consider his representation dated 23.10.2024 and 09.01.2025, seeking promotion to the post of Hostel Warden (B.Ed., with degree).

3. According to the petitioner, he is now working as a cook in the Government Boys (Backward Classes) Hostel, Devathoor, Dindigul and he is eligible to be promoted as Warden. To the said effect, he has given a representation on 23.10.2024 to the 2nd respondent and another representation dated 09.01.2025 to the 1st respondent. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

4. Considering the above said facts, the 1st respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.01.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
