The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to restrain the respondents from conducting Jallikattu in the petitioner's village, namely Kattupalli Village, Pudukkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based on the petitioner's representations dated 24.12.2025 and 14.01.2026.

2.When Jallikattu is permitted, it is for the authorities to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations. Therefore, we are of the view that such a direction cannot be issued in this writ petition. 2/5
