ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere into the ongoing civil dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner faces interference from the second and the third respondents based on a complaint preferred by the fourth respondent. He further submitted that the petitioner had issued a suit notice on her mother on 28.02.2019 and immediately on the following day, the fourth respondent had preferred a complaint, based on which, a case in Crime No.74 of 2019 has been registered under Sections 294 (b), 323 and 506(i) IPC before the third respondent.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also added that the petitioner is living with her family in the ground floor of her house and in the first floor, the mother of the petitioner lives. Acting on the complaint preferred by the mother, the second respondent instead of pacifying intervened the same, locked the house of the petitioner, as a result of which, they were stranded outside.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is no harassment by the 2nd or 3rd respondents and the petitioner's occupation of the ground floor would not be interfering with.

6. The above said statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Since the matter is chiefly a private offence between the mother and the daughter, this Court directs both the parties to appear before the Mediation Centre in the Sub Court, Pazhani on 20.03.2019.

7. Registry is directed to issue notice to the fourth respondent. The third respondent / Inspector of police, Palani Town Police Station, Dindigul District, is also directed to intimate to the fourth respondent about the mediation directed by this Court in this order. This criminal original petition is accordingly disposed of.
