O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks expeditious trial and disposal of the case in STC No.1792 of 2017 now pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has been playing hide and seek with the judicial process and rarely making his appearance in the Court and even questioning the accused on the complaint of the petitioner has been dragged for a year.

3. This Court perused the copy of the diary of the case in S.T.C No.1792 of 2017. The leaned Judicial Magistrate is directed to be more conscious about the judicial time even in adjourning the matter and try to ensure that when the case is listed, whether there is some real judicial activity takes place or the circumstances of the case warrants an adjournment. Ultimately, the process of justice dispensation must be balanced between both sides involved in a litigation and but in the instant case, it does not appear to have recognized that the plight of one of the litigants involved in a case. This Court now directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, to dispose of the matter within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
