ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.488 of 2018 and to file the final report.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case filed by the petitioner has been been registered in Crime No.488 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 294 (b), 323 and 506(1) IPC.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in the above said case, investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed on 13.12.2018 before the concerned Magistrate and the same is not taken on file.

4. Inasmuch as the final report has been filed in the complaint given by the petitioner, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition.

5. However, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti is now directed to hold an enquiry as to why the final report filed by the respondent police was not taken on file and file a report to this effect.
