ORDER

The petitioner seeks transfer of investigation in Crime No.723 of 2017 now under investigation by the third respondent. The said case was registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C., consequent to the death of the petitioner's son by suicide.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a family dispute between the petitioner's son and his spouse and his parents-in-law and other relatives. The petitioner strongly suspected that his son was either murdered or has been abetted to commit suicide. The investigating agency is not disclosing the real facts and the petitioner has lost to understand till date why his son at all has committed suicide.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is in its closing stage.

5. This Court now directs the second respondent to monitor the investigation to ascertain the correct facts from Post Mortem

report of the dead and ensure that the investigation is clearly done and is taken to his logical end. If the petitioner has any facts / information / material to support his suspicion, he is directed to share it with the investigating officer. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
