This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 23.05.2017.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the false promise given by the third and fourth respondents that the petitioner will be sent to canada for job, the petitioner gave a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- to the third and fourth respondents but, subsequently the third and fourth respondents have issued a bogus visa and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the first respondent on 23.05.2017 and the same was forwarded to the second respondent. He further submitted that during enquiry, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

third and fourth respondents gave assurance that they will repay the amount on 01.08.2017 but, so far, they have not repaid the amount and the second respondent has not taken any steps to register a case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, since the allegations are of serious in nature, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then, the second respondent has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law within a week.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
