This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the fourth respondent has lodged a complaint against four persons including the petitioner's sixth son and his wife alleging that some forged documents have been created and money has been misappropriated. He further submitted that the petitioner is aged about 73 and he has been unnecessarily subjected to harassment by the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, a case has been registered by the third respondent in Crime No. 26 of 2017 on 27.12.2017 under Sections 408, 465 and 471 IPC against four persons including the petitioner's sixth son and his wife. He further submitted that since the petitioner's son and his wife have been arrayed as A2 and A3, only with a view to secure them the police went to the house of the petitioner and not for any other purpose. He further submitted that the petitioner was neither called upon for enquiry nor he was subjected to any harassment. 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed not to harass the petitioner and if his presence is absolutely necessary for investigation purpose, they may call him by issuing summons.

5.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
