ORDER

The case of the petitioners is that the property comprised in patta No.382 belongs to the fourth respondent herein. The fourth respondent transferred the same to his wife, namely, Lakshmiammal. The said Lakshmiammal, who in turn, executed a power of attorney in favour of the first petitioner on 06.08.2019. On that basis, the sale deed was effected by the first petitioner in favour of the second petitioner and now, she is in possession. After a lapse of seven years, the fourth respondent through his wife made a complaint before the Inspector of Police, Sivanthipatti Police Station, Tirunelveli District. Based on the same, a case in Crime No.18 of 2017 was registered. But, however, it was later closed after conducting enquiry. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1792 of 2021 enquiry. So, based upon this complaint, the third respondent is harassing the petitioners. Hence, the petitioners are filed a present petition before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. According to the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), petition enquiry was conducted and it was closed on 12.02.2021. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.
