This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint given by the second respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the second respondent is the wife of the petitioner and she gave a false complaint due to family dispute and based on the said complaint the second respondent is harassing the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent, a case has been registered by the first respondent in Crime No.1 of 2018 under Sections 498(A) and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act on 16.01.2018 and hence the question of harassing the petitioner does not arise. 4.Since the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that a case has been registered against the petitioner, it is open to the first respondent to take appropriate action under the law without harassing the petitioner.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
