ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the 1st Respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.334 of 2024 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent are any other officer under the control of 1st respondent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2025 and to pass suitable order in accordance with law.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant, on whose instance Crime No.334 of 2024 was registered for the offences under sections 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), & 351(3) of BNS, 2023. He also fairly conceded that it is a case and case in counter. Counter case in Crime No. 333 or 2024 has been registered for the offence under sections 191(2), 191(3), 329(4), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 324(2), 49 & 351 of BNS, 2023 against him and others. However, the investigation is not yet over and hence, he sought the indulgence of this Court. 2/4

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) fairly conceded that the investigation is still pending.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the third respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and gear up the investigation in a prompt way so as to find the true aggressor. This Court further directs the first respondent to monitor the investigation conducted by the third respondent. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to appraise the progress of the investigation to the first respondent every Friday.
