This petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the FIR in Crime No.276 of 2023 on the file of the 1st respondent.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that already they completed the investigation and closed as 'mistake of fact' and RCS notice was also served and the same is pending before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sankarankovil. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and already the case has been closed as 'mistake of fact' and the same is pending before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sankarankovil, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
