The present case is filed for change of Investigating Officer. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a case was registered under Section 174(3) Cr.P.C on 17.02.2019 in Crime No.29 of 2019, that the case came to be altered into one under Section 302 I.P.C. on 19.02.2019, on suspecting, by the fourth respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are six accused in this case of whom three have already been arrested. The case is in the initial stage of investigation and it is in the right track.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that earlier, the petitioner's son, who is now a victim of the Crime had been abducted once, and a complaint was preferred which was not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

adequately enquired into. However, he conceded that neither the petitioner's son nor the petitioner had approached the Court on earlier occasions.

5.Therefore, this Court perceives that it is too early for passing statement of no confidence against the Investigating Agency. Having stated that this Court requires the third respondent either personally or through the Deputy Superintendent of Police to monitor the course of investigation, and to take it to its logical end and lay the charge sheet, preferably, within a period of six months from today.

6.In view of the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
