(Crime No.117 of 2017) PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to file a final report in Crime No.117 of 2017, on the file of the respondent within a time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks a direction to file a final report in Crime No.117 of 2017, on the file of the respondent Police, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in the occurrence involved in Crime No.117 of 2017, his house was damaged by the accused person.

4.The learned Additional public Prosecutor submitted that the case was closed as un-detectable.

5.This Court, therefore, modifies the order by which case has been closed as un-detectable case dated 07.11.2018 and directs the Investigating Agency to investigate into the matter in the manner provided by the statute and lay a final report. 6.A copy of the order of the un-detectable case dated 07.11.2018, is directed to be placed before the Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thattaramadam, Thoothukudi District, is directed to oversee the course of investigation.

7.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
