(In Crime No.901 of 2018) PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent no.2 to investigate the above case and thereby, file the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai based on the FIR in Crime No.901 of 2018, dated 03.07.2018, on the file of the second respondent Police.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.901 of 2018, dated 03.07.2018, registered for the offences under Sections 379 I.P.C.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation has been substantially completed and the respondent Police is preparing to file charge sheet before the concerned Court.

4.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. However, the second respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
